The Wait

In a new light I'm dressed today

black as the bottom of the darkness

you will wait in vain for my return

I'm busy stemming nothingness

that overflows onto the skin and burns

in the senseless sentences of the rhetoricians

of inhuman and unnatural feelings

with gray and rotting stone faces

I don't want to listen anymore

I'm building a giant wall

who shields me from the horde of barbarians

from the shameless arrogance of this sun

I chose a bottomless pit

a cold interstellar nook

absolute emptiness on which to hang this life

really opaque body a black hole

I escape from the chaos by hiding in its core

in the death of the night the black light swallows me

life corrupts spoils pollutes infects

Hope

diaphanous like dreams

they sail on a breeze

of ardent desires

lulled by the lapping

of night sea waves
